This page explains what happens to your personal data when you visit this site, book a call or work with me. I keep it short and specific on purpose.
Who is responsible
I am. Alessandro Leto Barone (P.IVA 03166300842) decides how your data is used. You can reach me at alessandro@didyoudoit.coach for anything related to your data.
What I collect and why
Visiting the site. I count visits with a simple analytics tool to see which pages and sources bring people here. It uses no cookies, does not follow you across sites and does not build a profile of you. The company that hosts the site keeps standard server logs (such as IP address) for security and operation. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in running and improving the site.
Booking a free call. The calendar comes from a third-party booking tool. When you book, it collects your name, email, time zone and anything you write in the booking form, and shares it with me. It may also set cookies when the calendar loads. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract.
Emailing me. If you write to me, I keep the conversation so I can answer you. Legal basis: your request, then my legitimate interest in replying.
Working together. For clients I process contact details, scheduling, session notes, goals and messages exchanged on WhatsApp, email or the video call platform you choose. Payments go through a payment provider (or Fiverr if you booked there) and I keep the invoices. Legal basis: performing our contract, plus my legal duty to keep accounting records.
Call notes. With your agreement, I use a note-taking tool that records and transcribes our calls, so I can keep track of what you commit to without typing during the call. If you prefer I don't, just tell me and I'll take notes by hand.
Sensitive information. Coaching can touch on health topics, for example ADHD or stress. I only record what is useful for the work and only with your explicit consent, which I ask for when you start. You can withdraw it at any time.
AI tools. I use AI tools to help summarise sessions and draft follow-up messages. I read everything before it reaches you. The tools I use do not train their models on your data.
Who else sees your data
Only the services I need to run things, each under its own data protection terms:
- Website hosting and analytics
- The booking tool
- The video call platform
- The note-taking tool that transcribes our calls
- Messaging and email services
- Payment services
- AI tools
- My accountant, for invoices
I never sell your data. Some of these services are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
You don't have to give me any of this, but without your contact details I can't book a call or work with you. I never make automated decisions about you: the AI tools only help me prepare notes and messages.
How long I keep it
Booking and email data: up to 12 months after our last contact. Client notes and messages: up to 12 months after the work ends. Invoices and payment records: 10 years, because Italian tax law requires it. After that I delete the data or anonymise it.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you your data, correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, hand it over in a portable format, or stop using it where I rely on legitimate interest. Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email me and I will answer within one month.
If you think I handled your data badly, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or to the authority in your own country.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. The booking calendar is loaded from a third party, which may set its own cookies.
Changes
If I change this page in a meaningful way, I will update the date at the top.
